Welcome back to The Handcrafting Hideaway! Today I bring you another blog hop from DO Stamping with the Stars (DOswts)!
Our challenge today is to create a card inspired by the look and texture of basket weaving.
I originally wanted to do a more intricate weave design. However, after hours of struggling with it, I decided to go in a different direction. I love how this card turned out!
To make the basketweave look, I cut 1/4 in strips of cardstock, weaved them together, and adhered them to a piece of Basic White cardatock. I heat embossed the sentiment and added some Wink of Stella to the word “believe” to make it pop.
