Welcome back to The Handcrafting Hideaway! I’m back after about a 6 month crafting hiatus due to being a busy mom of 4! I missed having the opportunity to create and share with all of you, so I’m very excited to be back!
Today, I bring you another Sketch Inspiration Hop from DO Stamping with the Stars (DOswts)! For one of our blog hops each month, we use a layout sketch as inspiration to create our project. This month we used the sketch pictured below.
For my card, I used the Reach For The Stars Bundle, Stargazing DSP, and Holographic Specialty Paper. These products are all in the Annual Catalog. I can’t believe I waited so long to use these products! They are so colorful and fun.
SUPPLIES
Paper:
Holographic Trio 12″x12″ Specialty Paper: small piece to die cut stars
Stargazing 12″x12″ Specialty DSP: 3-7/8″x5-1/8″ (front of card), die cut planets out using coordinating dies, die cut flames out of orange patterned sheet
Basic White Cardstock: 4″x5-1/4″ (interior mat), 4″x5-1/4″ (card front mat), a piece big enough to stamp and die cut the spaceship
Blackberry Bliss Cardstock: 8-1/2″x5-1/2″ (card base), scored at 4-1/4″, a piece big enough to die cut the planet ring
Daffodil Delight Cardstock: a small piece to die cut the flame at the back of the spaceship
